Our Therapists

Amy holds a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from The College of St. Scholastica and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Utica College. She's also a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and CCMI certified in concussion. With over 25 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, Amy excels in injury evaluation, management, and prevention, as well as pre and post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-specific conditioning. She's trained in Pilates, Yoga, Integrated Systemic Dry Needling, cupping and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and specializes in orthopedic manual therapy techniques, and exercise for restoring motor control and reeducation. Amy also serves as the Head Athletic Trainer and Physio for the Santa Monica Rugby Club Men’s teams, and she's a member of several professional associations including APTA, NATA, NSCA, CPTA, AASPT.
Kim Livas, DPT
Kim earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mt. St. Mary’s College in 2009, complementing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With a lifelong involvement in various activities and sports, including dance and coaching competitive high school cheerleading, Kim is passionate about working with sports medicine and pediatric populations. She aims to develop injury prevention programs for young athletes across different sports. Currently pursuing her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential and interested in advancing her Pilates training, Kim also teaches undergraduate Anatomy and Physiology labs at Mt. St. Mary’s College. She's an active member of professional associations like APTA and CPTA, focusing on orthopedics and pediatrics.
